How We Maintain a Safe Environment on Pets Connected

At PetsConnected.com, building a trusted and safe community is just as important as helping pets find loving homes.
We have strong systems in place to protect our users, support animal welfare, and ensure a positive experience for everyone.

Here’s how we maintain a safe online environment:

🔍 Careful Advert Monitoring

Every advert placed on Pets Connected is subject to monitoring and review.
We actively look out for:

• Suspicious patterns, pricing, or descriptions

• Early warnings of scams or fraudulent activity

• Advertisers breaching our welfare policies

Adverts that fail to meet our standards are removed quickly to protect our community.

🛡️ Secure User Verification

Where appropriate, we encourage ID verification for users, particularly for:

• Frequent advertisers

• Professional breeders

• Pet service providers

ID verification increases trust between buyers and sellers and helps ensure only responsible individuals use our platform.

🚨 Easy Reporting System

We make it simple for users to report:

• Suspected scams or fraud

• Animal welfare concerns

• Offensive or inappropriate behaviour

Every advert features a 'Report' button, and our support team investigates every report promptly and seriously.

🔒 Secure Messaging and Privacy

To protect your information, Pets Connected provides a secure messaging system.
This allows users to communicate without sharing personal contact details until they feel ready.

We also never sell or share your private data with third parties without your explicit consent.

📚 Education and Support

We equip users with advice and safety guidance, helping you:

• Spot and avoid scams

• Understand your legal rights and responsibilities

• Make safer decisions when buying, selling, or adopting pets

Knowledge is one of the strongest defences against bad practices online.

At PetsConnected.com, safety is at the heart of everything we do.
By working together — staying alert, reporting concerns, and following our community guidelines — we can make sure Pets Connected remains a safe, happy place for pets and people everywhere.
